About Shifter Lite
The Shifter Lite is the simplest way to add a real H-pattern to your rig. Contactless Hall-effect sensing reads every gate cleanly, with nothing to wear out, and a positive notch into each of the seven gears plus reverse.
Configure everything in SimTorq Control Center (Windows): switch between H-pattern and sequential, remap inputs, and set up four mapping layers. No account needed.
Plug it into any USB port and it shows up as a standard game controller, so it works with every PC racing sim that supports a shifter — Assetto Corsa, ACC, iRacing, BeamNG, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Forza and more.

Does it work with my game?
SimTorq Shifter Lite connects over USB and shows up as a standard game controller, so it works with PC racing and driving sims that support an H-pattern shifter — including Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, BeamNG.drive, Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator and more.
Does it work on PlayStation or Xbox?
It's designed for PC (Windows). Consoles don't accept standalone USB shifters or handbrakes, so we don't recommend it for console-only setups.
Do I need to install software?
No — it's plug-and-play. SimTorq Control Center (Windows, free, no account) is optional for switching H-pattern/sequential modes, remapping inputs and setting up layers.
What if something's wrong with it?
